In case you missed it : here is Rosalia’s immersive listening party in barcelona
Listening party for Rosalía’s new album Lux at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), November 5, 2025
Rosalía hosted a listening party in Barcelona that felt less like an album preview and more like a sensory installation. To introduce Lux, her highly anticipated new project, she transformed the National Art Museum of Catalonia into a space where sound, light and architecture worked together as a single creative narrative.
Guests discovered the album in a projection-filled room designed to amplify the emotional depth and textural layers of the music. The scenography echoed a modern, almost sacred atmosphere, mixing shadows and reflections with the monumental architecture of the MNAC. The choice of venue was symbolic. Lux means light in latin, but also revelation, and this contrast between sacred and contemporary already hints at the artistic intention behind the project.
The audience listened to several unreleased tracks in a space crafted to let each sonic detail breathe. Far from a traditional launch, this approach positioned the album as a complete artistic world where acoustics and visual direction shaped the experience.
Lux appears to move toward a sculpted minimalism, intimate yet precise, a direction that continues Rosalía’s desire to redefine what a contemporary pop album can be. The listening party at the MNAC reinforced her commitment to turning each release into a world of its own, one that can be felt physically before it can be streamed.
If this first immersion is any indication, Lux will not just be a return. It marks the beginning of a new aesthetic territory, where Rosalía continues to expand and challenge the boundaries of pop.
