“The Taste Of Rehearsal”, A Ballet Story by Savanhazz

A study in softness and quiet rebellion, this capsule unfolds within the intimate setting of a ballet classroom in the heart of Paris.

Starring Sono Sakai, the editorial captures a delicate tension between discipline and indulgence, two forces that coexist within the world of ballet. The series gently reimagines this environment through a softer, more intimate lens.

Styled by Paola Buendia and brought to life through makeup by Lou Bourmaud, the visual language embraces a palette of pastel tones and subtle textures.

The project reflects on the beauty and softness inherent to ballet, while subtly acknowledging the rigidity and expectations that often accompany it.

In this way, the capsule becomes a moment where imperfection is not only allowed, but celebrated.
